The ISC KL311 oval steel carabiner has a screw-locking gate and is fantastic value and versatile carabiner that gives you a 0.6" (15mm) gate opening.

Screw Gate carabiners are a simple threaded gate mechanism and must be rigged in the correct orientation (screw thread facing upwards).

Due to the simple screw lock mechanism of the gate care should be taken to ensure that nothing comes into contact with the gate when in use.

These Carabiners are electrogalvanised (zinc plated), giving them a zinc coating that makes them corrosion resistant. However this coating is less durable than a hot-dipped galvanisation process.

This carabiner measures 4" x 2.2" x 0.7" (105mm x 57mm x 17mm) and weighs 6oz (171g). See the picture above for further dimension details.
